METS involves a system of technology, process and know-how that allows suitably qualified practitioners to measure and interpret Energy Data from a patient. METS comprises the following components;
1. The e-cal, an indirect calorimeter that has been specifically designed by RQ Energy to perform resting energy measurements.
2. e-cal Health, proprietary software developed to interpret raw metabolic data and provide a relevant interpretation for the client and the Practitioner. e-cal Health has been developed by Physicians and Physiologists to enable Health Practitioners to better manage clients that present with symptoms of energy dysfunction.
3. BRS 500, a novel modality for optimising energy production and fat burning using Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy. PEMF works by regulating the flow of oxygen and nutrients into the cell and therefore, changing the energy production of the cell.
4. ECG Measurement of Heart rate variability and stress
5. CASP Measurement of Arterial stiffness and cardiovascular risk
METS has integrated these three components into a unique testing program designed to provide a detailed Energy Profile that has a number of clinical benefits for the client and their Practitioner.
